Is there a pet on property?
Yes, we do have a small dog...a Yorkshire Terrier named Zoe. Actually, she's a really big Yorkie...she weighs at least 10 pounds! She is not, however, allowed in any of the guest rooms, mainly because she likes to steal (and shred) toilet paper! We can say, with absolutely no objectivity whatsoever, that she's the sweetest dog in the world and for those of you missing your own "children" back home, we try to schedule a little pet therapy after breakfast is served in the morning.

We have two parking areas, both of which are off the street.

Can we see the water from our room?
All of our guest rooms, except the Pebble have decks or balconies. The view from each room is dependent, primarily, on the time of year. In the winter, we have a decentt view of the harbour, but as the season progresses, the sight-line becomes increasingly obscured by several massive oaks in the back yard. Please note that we are not directly on the water, but are about half a block up the hill from Pictou Harbour.
